did most of my lift this weekend just have to extend the filler neck and lower the radiator and put the bumpers back on

from what ive been told i have to lower the radiator down becuase its attached to the body so it goes up when u lift the body obviously and i guess it has to remain in its stock position so that means ud have to lower it....i may have been told completely bs info im not sure i havent gotten to that part yet....and theres no way im gettin rid of my tow hooks...the only way to be able to keep them on is to cut the valence right?

hey eric when you lift the body you have to lower the radiator 3 inches so that the fan stays in the fan shroud. the radiator mounts to the header panel on the body, the fan mounts to the engine on the frame, so you have to keep them together.

thats why im putting an electric fan on mine, then you can put the radiator in the factory spot when you take off the manual fan, plus it frees up some power

Your body lift should have extension brackets to mount the radiator to, its easy. Yes if you want to keep the hooks you have to cut the valance.

sweet. that way i can get an idea of what my truck would look like withthe 31s. i thought about doin a body lift, then dropn the tbars down an inch from were they are now, and dropin the rear and inch, by smaller rear blocks, the wen time for new tires doin the tbars and blocks back up
