yep yep pretty much. The trucks really havent changed through the years, so with 3 inch body lift, the truck with sit just as high as these with the kit. With exception of the newer ones that dont have the same size rear blocks and such, but you dont have to worry about that.

how difficult would this be to do if i did it at my house? Would me and my dad be able to do it?? On a scale of 1 to 10 how difficult would it be considered and anyone have a guess on how long it would take??
I'm interested in doing this, and will most likely be doing it by the end of janurary.

First question yes you could do it at your house in the driveway if you have the right tools. Scale is really hard to say, it just depends on how much knowledge you have, how many different tools you have, how you can improvise in situations etc but id say is changing you oil is 1 and changing motor and tranny is a 10, itd be in the middle. If your fast itll take you about 6 to 8 hours, normal time is around 10 to 12 which is what it took me and my friend. If you can just take a whole weekend and take your time, thats usually the best route. I started on a fri morning/early afternnoon n finished about 1am that night. Then I spent saturday putting my seats and interior back in, n then my bumpers, etc. Took alil longer because mines a manual and making sure no lines were hitting but like I said simpe answer depends on your skills and tools but if you cant do it, then you should prolly take most of all your repairs and things to a shop lol. But im sure you can do it

Thanks for the reply!
Yeah i'm sure we can do it, we have a decent selection of tools to use and will definitely be able to improvise if needed. So to make sure we get everything right i'll just guess it'll take a full weekend! Sounds good to me! Thanks for the help Wilson

no problem man. I end ed up using alot of tools I never thought I was going to have to use lol. Some funky drywall crow bar thing that ended up holding the bushings from spinning better than absolutely anything I tried. I didnt want to heat mine because I had em soaked and wet with pb blaster so it def would have caught on fire lol. If i had it to do over again I would have just soaked em days before like I did, bt then the day of I would have started with the heat instead of pb blaster because once I put it on, I didnt have the time to let it dry to try n heat u know with worry of it catching on fire. Also alot of scrap pieces of wood helped to get the body as high as I needed. I evem have a big jack, like a 3.5 ton with like a 25 inch arm n I still needed alil extra boost up. Also had to do alil improvising when I did the radiator, tieing lines out of the way when I was finished, gas neck filler because I made my own, etc. Just take your time and double n triple check everything.

honestly it sounds worse than it is. It is really not that bad if you have a good sense of things and how stuff works. Plus for me atleast, it really helped me go over and study every single thing on the truck n where its at so I liked the learning aspect of it and being able to get in n out everywhere because nothing was on the truck lol. Just take your time, be prepared to improvise if necessary and you will be fine. The directions can be kinda grey in some areas so I ended up mostly just using my head besides like the specifics for like the bolt sizes n etc.

when i did my body lift it was so much more simple than the post says maybe becuz its a 2.5 and regular cab but either way more simple than explained... started by undoing the radiator, battery cables, engine ground, and the steering then just impacted the left side of the cab first(loosened the 3 bolts) and installed the spacers one by one then repeated the other side we pulled the bumper off befor we started, loosened all 6 bed bolts and lifted from the rear towards the cab so the bedwould not slide off, all spacers in,redid the steering the radiator and the ground bumper brackets were the tough part but got them on and the bumpers came along fine(readjusted later) made sure nothing was pinched and then hooked the battery back up and cranked it up,drove a hundred miles and retighten the body mounts no problems...didnt need the gas line enstention and a few other things..took 2 ppl 2 hours

I kinda figured that. Just was wondering if you had any other little tips or tricks that would help on my truck. Pretty sure I'm gonna end up double lifting my truck (body, then suspension).
