I may have missed it but a couple things im wondering about are front tow hooks and my exhaust. Reason being is i wanna keep my tow hooks on front and my exhaust is custom coming out in front of the rear wheel. When i install my body lift what modifications will i have to make for these issues? And ive also seen some threads mention something about modifying something for the front bumper brackets? ?

In order to Keep tow hooks as stock. You have to remove the front plastic valiance. Which was already removed on mine and I think looks just fine. As far as your exhaust really nothing needs to be done unless you have OCD about where that sits. In which case raise the exhaust hangers

Ok the exhaust doesn't really bother me and i had a guy tell me that he modified his front plastic and used his factory front hooks so that's an easy fix. But i keep seeing people say about modifying the front frame horn?? What is it they're talking about cause i can't figure it out. And is anyone running a trailer hitch with a body lift?

dont modify the plastic cut and weld the tow hooks. there is a how-to on this website its for the level II hooks but works the same for the reg hooks also.

no need to modify the front frame horn.

front or rear trailer hitch? stock hitch in the rear will work just like normal just look 3" lower. or you can do like I did and most people and modify the trailer hitch by cutting out 2.5-3" if it and re-welding it.

now front hitch will require modification. I have one it does involve modifying the front cross member and some welding not a big deal.

Ok perfect. And mine is rear hitch. I just thought it'd look dumb hanging down 3 inches below the bumper haha ok ill have to find that thread for the front hook relocation, that sounds better than cutting my plastics, just wanna keep the truck looking as original as possible that's all.

Default Body Lift 3” – Tech Info Extravaganza

The rear hitch mounts to the bottom of the frame correct? Why not just set it on the top part of the frame and have it come down in between the frame rails
