Default how big of a lift should i go HELP!!!

i want to fit 33x12.50's, but i found some 5.5 and 6 inch suspension lifts for almost the same price as a 4 inch lift kit, would 33's look to small on a 5.5 or a 6in? could i fit 35's? or should i just stick with the 4 inch and 33's? HELP! also, i would hate to regear, people have told me its not really worth the $1500. what is my best option here?

id go as big as possible! i think a 5.5 u might be able to fit 35s.....not sure!
BUT! it depends on what gear u have...it is worth it to regear if u need it...but for me eith 4.10s the most u can get w stock....it isnt worth it for me to regear i just wont put myself in that postition.

what gears r u running now? search rear axle codes if u dont already know

If I were you I'd save your money and buy a 3" body lift. You can fit 33's under it with little rubbing and sometimes even none.

Body lift - ~$200

4" Suspension - $500 (w/o leafs)

I would go 6" lift with 33's. I personally dont like a "stuffed" look. 33's with 6" would look good and give you enough room to let the suspension work

----------

I had 9" lift with 33's and it looked fine

I have 10" total lift and have 35x12.5's...I think it's preportioned just right. The tires don't look too big or too small for the truck. And I run the stock 4:10 gears.

The 5.5 with 33's would be a good combo.

Yea except he will hit the radius arms with 33s on a ttb truck and a body lift. Buy a real lift. 4" will require some fender trimming on a ttb I would get the 5.5 or 6" lift to fit 33s well. Just did a 93 ttb with those tires and they rub on 4" of lift.

would the tires rub at all? i think im going to go with a nice pricey pair of 33 inch tires, and maybe later down the road ill get a cheaper set of 35's and maybe add some lift, but right now, 6 in and 33 inch tires sound good, thanks man

My 94 ranger has a 3" body lift with a front coil spacer to level it out. It has 33X12.50 BFG mudders and I have never rubbed. I have plenty of room. Me personaly I want 35s and I never want to wonder what my truck with 35s will look like. So get the 6in lift and 35s. I have seen some ttb rangers with with that set up and they look great. I cant wait to get mine lifted 6 or 8in and big ass tires on it. If you need any pics of mine with the 33s just let me know.
