Default Jeep Suspension on Rangers

Ive been trying to find out if I could put springs from a 98' jeep onto my 2001 ranger. Ive heard some people saying that you can put the springs on but i wanted to ask everyone to see what you guys think. I hope it does fit my buddy is offering his lift off his jeep to me.

second thread is on a BII, but it's similar suspension wise. first link says that the springs are a 240lb rate, which is super soft.

You can find v8 jeep coils or higher ppi ones because 240s suck

I've seen it done. The 150 springs are usually too stiff for flex monsters...and the jeep ones will be flex monsters!

My buddy put Ranger springs on his Wranger, so yes, it will work. The springs at least.

use b2 springs, they ride much nicer than the jeeps
