Re: will a 4 inch suspention lift clear 33's?
You can fit 33's with just a 3 in body lift. That's what I would recommend you do. Unless a suspesion lift is in your budget. I just bought 33's and i'm putting on my body lift within the next week or two. A lot of guys on here run that set up.
Also what tire you thinking about running?

1997 is a ttb and just did a 4" or so lift on a 1993 and it clears 33x12.50 but not at full lock. Has nothing to do with the body it hits the rad arms.

Get yourself a wheel at least 8 inches wide with a 4 inch back spacing and you'll be fine. Post pics when you're finished! I love the 3rd gens!

You can fit a 33x10.5 on nothin but torsion bar crank. You can stuff 35s under that sucker with a 4" suspension lift. (If you can afford it, suspension lift > body lift IMO)

^He's got a ttb suspension. You CANNOT fit a 33 on stock suspension, since he doesnt have torsion bars lol

Re: will a 4 inch suspention lift clear 33's?
i really want to fit 33x12.50's without any trimming, should i include a 2 inch leveling kit also or should i be fine with just the 4 inch suspention? i dont really like body lifts, they are cheap and nice, but id rather get a suspention for right now, maybe later on ill add a bl with bigger tires when i get more money

Re: will a 4 inch suspention lift clear 33's?
will post pics on here tomorrow of a 1993 with 33x12.50s on the stock rims just finished it up today its my buddies truck. he has stacked rear leafs (2+1 factory + 3+1 factory + short AAL) with the stock 2.5" block netted ~4-5" rear lift; the front is F150 coils which net ~4" on his ext cab. the 33s fit but they do rub under flex on the rear of the front and rear fender flares. it is not bad but it is there and will rip the flares off depending on tire combo. if you get a real 4" kit with good coils and a set of spacers the front will clear except for the radius arm. the rear will still hit the fender flare fully flexed out. some of the issues will disappear depending on rim backspacing. 8in wide with 4" or less backspacing should clear the radius arm. the stock rims will not regardless of lift food for thought i have 6-8" of lift and dont clear my LCA's under full lock. i will clear with good backspacing.
people with torsion bar fronts need to stop comparing to their trucks a TTB is not the same.

Re: will a 4 inch suspention lift clear 33's?
I have a 1994. all it has is a 3" body lift and I have 33 1250 BFG mudds on my ride. I have plenty of clearance. If you wanna see some picks with the tires turned to show how much of a gap you will have between your bumper and fender just let me know. With my 3" body lift I could probly fit 35s with a little trimming so I know for a fact your 4" suspention will do just fine.

Stay away from super swampers unless you are only off roading, they don't do very well on the road. They wear terrible. terra mud grapplers are good. A lot of people on here highly recommend either BFG A/T's, or the KM2's. check out some of the tire recommendation/evaluation threads, you'll find a tire that works best for you.

Re: will a 4 inch suspention lift clear 33's?
I have a 91 ranger 4x4 with obviously ttb front end and i just put a 3 inch body lift on it and got some 33/12.50/15's and i mounted them on my stock outlaw aluminum wheels and have no wheel spacers and they clear everything even at the closest point of contact and weight in the truck and bouncing on it it doesnt rub..and im runnin 32 psi and still have a flat footprint with my tires..soo just try it..id rather have 31's just because 33 look to big..lol..good luck
