there are some how to sections on here, i had my instructions out on the tail gate, and two tabs open on the computer to do mine, one with therangerstation.com tech and one with the frf tech. between the three you will be golden.

yeah ive been going over the tech some. Im starting to worry about all the stuff involved. It seems like sooooo much. I guess its really just taking a bunch of little parts off and remembering how/where the pieces are to put them back on.

honestly, start with the bed, thats what i did, take the bumper off and do the bed, see how you feel, its not super hard. the most annoying part for me was getting those damn brackets for the lower radiator mounts on. its a long process with lots of checks and balances. if you take your time and take it one step at a time you can do it. i did it completely solo with not a single person helping me, i also did it in my driveway with no power tools, just a socket set, some screw drivers and a breaker bar basically... its possible.

i guess that was the wrong wording, sorry i have been distracted today. its a long process with lots of little parts to double check. but if you have all the tools to do it your golden! i grenaded a few crappy socket wrenches before i broke down and bought a breaker bar lol. if you have an impact gun and a spare set of hands you can do it in a day no problem.

Well that is good to hear. Its gunna be me and my dad and we got an impact guna and just about any other standard tool so like you/everyone else says it wont be too bad. I just can see myself loosing little parts all over the place haha. Where do the blocks go on the bed? Where the bolts go through? Is that all that needs to be done for the rear is take off the bumper, take off the bed, put the blocks in, place those little metal squares in it, and bolt it back down?

Also, there are only four places to put the blocks for the cab right?

to do the bed, open the fuel filler cover, take those 3 screws off, then take the bumper off, which if you have a tow package will take that off too. then loosen the 6 bolts holding the bed down but only take one side out. you can lift the side of the bed up by hand, and set the spacers in under the bolt holes and thread in the new bolts. (make sure you use the right bolts, there are several different lengths) then do the same to the other side. then put the metal blocks in and tighten everything down. the whole bed minus putting the bumper on took me about an hour and a half.

That doesnt seem to bad. I wish the parts list was more detailed with these things or the parts were more seperated or something but im sure ill figure it all out. Do you have a hitch?

i took mine off, gonna shorten it up and put it back on eventually. what i did with all the hardware it came with was sort it out and measure the bolts, they are measured in CM and the instructions say which ones to use, so its easy.
