Default body lift help

ok guys i finaly did the body lift and man i love the way it looks the only thing is my 4x4 was converted to locken hubs and t put it in 4x4 i got the little shifter on the floor and i cant fnd what to use to extend it and tips or has any one done this i was maby thinken just weld a pipe to it but idk any thing guys

Welding is your only option. I have a different linkage/shift arm than you....but most the other guys with manual tcases do a straight up 3" or so extention. Cut, weld, bolt linkage back on, go!

If you can make it into a bolt-on, it would make it easier to fine tune it and possibly, you won't be forced into cutting your plastic floor bezel.

There's two different shift handles I've seen on those 97 and older manual tcases. One is a solid rod. the other is a screw on rod....the ball and upper half actually screws off the bottom part of the linkage. Depending on what kind you've got, will determind how easy the exention would be.
