Default Body lift soon

Hey guys, soon i will be body lifting my truck. My question is about painting up the under body. When i take off my bumpers and stuff is it easy to paint like....the A-Arms and the under side of the truck? Like will i have any problems just getting some black spray paint and painting everything ie is there much masking i will need to do?

Any tips would be great i just dont know how to go about painting this stuff and how worried i should really be about how it will look.

BTW, sometime between monday and wednesday im ordering the summit body lift, some black rock 15x10 D Window wheels with 3.75 inch backspacing, and 33x12.50 wrangler duratracs....can you say FUCKING STOOOOOKED!?!?!?!?!? Im so happy!

Idk why im so worried about it, it just seems like itd be hard for some reason. I guess the main things are rear drums, front parts (fram aarms etc) the hitch, i think im gunna do my rear bumper in bed liner and re do my front one, the side of the frame...and that should be it. I just hope i dont get over spray on my body but i mean its not in the best shape and has some small dents here and there anyway so whatever

If you worry about getting it on the body just put some tape and paper up the sides.
Rear drums wont be hurt by painting them. I paint mine every time I rotate the tires.

I did some wire brush/painting on mine today, and cut new gap guards, using the Lowe's floor mat rubber. I didn't mask anything. Turned out pretty good. Didn't take any pics though.
Good choice on the Duratracs, putting mine on Monday.

Here is a picture of my front end all painted up. If on the frame you have any surface rust you will wanna wire brush it before painting.

That looks really good STL. And bill you definatly gotta put some pics up as soon as you get them on theres not a lot of pictures i can find of rangers with em. Do they have a black lettering side on them? And if so do you guys think i should mount them that way or will black wheels and all black tires look bad? I think it could go either way

----------

My truck is gonna look so different im so excited! Im gunna make a progress thread and take so many pictures of before, after and during. I got a bid ol pole barn shop to do the work in in my backyard, should make a good thread!

I think black wheels and no letters would look fine. I wish I would have gone with white letters in.

Yeah, I see a lot of trucks like that and like it. Ill probably do that and use my chrome ford center caps to offset the blackness

Bisket's got alot of pics of his truck with Duratracs on it. Nice truck.
I'm mounting mine with the white letters out, but they have black lettering on the other side.

Have fun!
