Default bodylifts

i read on a forum somewere that you could put a 1" body lift in and copyed this info into aqdraft in my email.

Hardware-
-12 hockey pucks (1" by 3" 6oz is perfect .. AKA STD size)
-Torx .. T-55 & T-50 3/8's drive or half inch, depending on what you prefer.
-12 1 1/2" fender washer's
-8 1/2" washers
-10 standard nuts (If you use locking nuts, dont use loctite.. Destroys lockers.)
-8x M12x1.75x140mm
-2x M12x1.75x160mm
-Reuse 2 front .. OR M12x1.75x120mm

my question is does anyone know were to order just the "pucks" i have the harden bolts from fastenal but need to find a place to order the blocks to put in. i'm not inclined to use the hockey pucks kids play with if i'm gonna take the time to put this in i want to do it right the first time.
what could be used for the 1"spacer? someone told me to just get a peice of steel that thick? would that work?

with the 1" i'm guessing i don't need the steering shaft extender?

No extensions needed

Hockey pucks will also compress over time they dont stay solid

Do a search for UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight), this is plastic, highly abrasion resistance and other properties. I wouldn't make my blocks out of it, even though it would probably work good. Use the search to find companies that deal in plastics and call a local one to see what they have to offer and their pricing. If you tell them what you are going to use it for and what size you need, they will more than likely make some up for you. We use Redwood Plastics where I live.

All you need for the 1" is 12 1x3 PA lift blocks(about $1.50 or $1.99 each), 12 approx 30mm longer bolts(IDK about reg cab but on my Xcab, I used the rear cab bolts in the front cab bolt locations for the 1"), and washers for those 6 cab bolts, and thick 1 1/2" washers for the bed bolts. No nuts needed, you don't need 1 1/2" washers under everybolt, it's T55 for the bedbolts. In fact, the only nuts actually used are the front bodymount bolts where you can reuse the stock one.

When I used to sell bolt kits for the 1", I included 100's, 110's, 130's, and 150's.
