Default rear block sizes

Ok so i have searched and searched for a while now trying to find out the different sizes of blocks that come on our trucks from the factory.. i know older rangers have taller blocks but how big are they and what size are my blocks.. cause im going to use older blocks to get some more lift out of my rear end. so if anyone can help me out please help me

yeah i think i can and get a lift but how much cause i bought 2 inch extended shocks for all four sides of my truck cause i did the T bar crank and it limits travel.. so now i want to finish the back of my truck so i can put my shocks on.

lmao, ill be waiting w my shot gun in hand! i never actually took the time to measure ther blocls...im guessing they are 3 inches? maybe 2.5?

oh wow.. so its like that eh? lol.. but i think they are 2.5 inches but im just wondering what size mine are since the shocks i ordered are extended for my model year which is 2009

I believe the older rangers are 1.5-2" blocks for 4x4 ones anyways....I dunno what new ones are though...I know F150 blocks are 2 inch (80-96) and 78-79 blocks are 3 inches....Ill have to measure them tonight on my ranger

My original were 2.5" when I did the axle swap the 06 fx4 level 2 they we're 2"

ok cool.. i think im going to have to measure mine this afternoon.. but people say shackles are easier.. i dont see how though there isn't a thread on how to install them anywhere i have looked.. and i really dont know how i would do that. cause i dont have alot of lift equipment. got a couple jack stands and one jack. and the spare tire jack too but everyone knows that that thing sucks

its two bolts (from what i know) ur just moving the original leaf position down and putting the shackle where the old bolt is....
