Default I want a body lift , but....

I want a body lift but the guy at 4 wheel parts told me that there could possibly be an extra chrage up to $800 more because the bushings that are compressed could be old and worn out and may need to be changed. Its only a 2002 and was owned by a single owner who drove it 700 miles a month and kept it in a garage.

What do you guys think ?

I was thinking the same thing. But I thought I would ask around first. He's charging me $1,420 OTD with kit, install, gap guards, alighnment , and 3 year warrenty on parts and labor. Is that a good price. I figure its high but hey it'll have a warrenty and it will be done by a large company that can back it up.

I did mine for the cost of the body lift, just under 200.00, I bought gap guards too for 78.00. I think the guy is ripping you off man. They come with instructions, its kinda simple if you have help and good tools

I was thinking the same thing but my issue is time. I always figured 4wheelparts is expensive. I think install cost is more than doing a supension lift. They wanted $650 for a suspension lift install. How long did it take yall guys ?

It took me 12 hours because of rusted bolts, and that kind of stuff. What I usually do is ask some mechanics in a local shop if they want some money on the side to help you out on a weekend project that will save time and money for you

I got ahold of an old buddy of mine that is ASE certified and has tons of experince working on all kinds of vehicles and he's done a few body lifts, so that'll help.

Will the 33x12.50r15 have any trouble fitting on there ? Any trimming required ?

Why would he charge for a alignment? it is a body lift not a suspension lift

Screw them and do it your self and get some buddies to help.

1400 you could do bl yourself and have money left over to get some nice rear leafs and tbar crank is free....so yea major rip off. Order a pa 3" bodylift I think this site has a guide for gap guards cheap and you should have enough left over to order wheels and tires lol
