Default Lift Kits

do you think it would be a good idea, or a gay one, to put a lift kit on a 2WD truck?

Lots of people lift 2 wd trucks. Personally I don't get the point of it, but its your truck and you can do whatever you want to.

I don't see a problem with lifting a 2wd. It is just people making what they have there's. Most 2wd can go a lot of places that 4wd's can.

DO it, if that is the look you want. Just make sure to take pictures and post em!

+1 do it! offroading in 2wd is way more of a challenge, so its more fun i think, you cant get used to your truck bailing you out of the situation, its all your driving skills

it's all in what you use the truck for and knowing your limits.

Get a locker, and know when to keep your momentum, and you'll be alright...

Aside from offroading, do you want a lifted truck? If the truck is on the streets 99% of the time, who cares if its 4wd or 2wd. I say lift it.

Depends on your skill level. I can do it in a few hours in my garage. My garage also has pretty much every tool I'd need for most mods.

Do you change your own oil, do your own brakes? If you have a floor jack and a good tool set you should be allright.
