Also you know of any good write ups on air shocks?

yeah I dont know on that, maybe someone can chim in on specs. I would think if they were longer maybe by only a couple inches...? I think they should work, the width is the same, at leas on my 97 it was.

ive used air shocks on my 94 for years (same pair) ive carried upwards of 1000 pounds with no problem in the bed and they helped with the ride when empty only problem is actually airing up or airing down is inconvinent but worth the money i spent on them

i picked up a new set of leafs from www.generalspringkc.com for mine. 1750lb capacity for right around $300 shipped. Rides really nice, and no more sag with bikes in the back or with my trailer loaded with quads. Just measure how thick the stock spring pack is so you will know wheather to get longer u-bolts or not. Luckily, I didn't have to.

Add a leaf or airbags. I work at a suspension shop and we sell kits for trucks with your application. They are fully adjustable (height) and hold up for years on end.

Something like this, but better quality, firestone air bags, the works

I started by purchasing a pair of leafs. Got a local quote for $320 installed. Decided to buy them $110, a new ratchet set $100, and save myself 100 bucks.

Took me about 45 min once I set up my working area.

Its level now. Still looking at getting another 1-1/2 from shackles and front coil spacers and worrying about my shocks(air).

did you get just a pair of add-a-leafs?

Is it level with all the weight you were concerned about or being empty?
