As a personally preference, I like around 3" lift with 32 BFG. I think to many guys run 3's and they really dont fit the size of the truck. 4" SL with 33's is ok I think.

Cheapest way is 3" BL.

I would run 31's for stock, 32's for 3" 33's for 4+"

If you get torsion keys get OEM ones from 2006 and older then crank the bars you will get more lift.

Why's that? I went to my mechanic today and told him I wanted about 3" of lift. I suggested the BL, but he said it would be better to get some keys because bolting your body back on with long bolts is dangerous. If you get in an accident, there is a good chance the whole body just severs from the frame. And cranking your T's bows your tires, no?

Or you could get a real lift. A 3" bl is not dangerous personally I think they look dumb but that's just me. Older torsion keys or 1" leveling keys off of ebay will get you plenty of lift in the front it won't bow your tires and throw an add a leaf in the back that will let you fit 285/75s which are around 33x11.50 or like I said you can get a real lift and there are kits or sas

I LOL'd. OP stay from leveling keys. If you do prekey, use Factory keys from like 01-05. And a body lift is not dangerous. All it is is placing spacers inbetween the body and frame. nothing dangerous about that. Every single one of those trucks posted above have a 3" BL on them and look badass.

But if you want what he calls a real lift, then go get a suspension lift and spend about $1600. When you can get a 3" BL for about 180 and get the same effect.

I wouldn't necessarily say there's nothing dangerous about a BL. Like I said before, with 3" of lift, you're also using bolts that are 3" longer and long bolts can be dangerous, especially when holding your body to your frame. I personally think it looks good, which is why I wouldn't mind one myself, but I tend to look at every pro and con before doing anything.

Im runnin 33x12.50 with a 3' suspension and I have no problem on and offroad. Dont go body they are pointless and actually can be worse for your truck nevermind the drive is horrible. Get a Rough Country they are relativley cheap as far as lifts go and they are great quality. If your gunna do it do it right the first time. Straight all suspension and throw some 32's or 33's underneath the truck will be a beats.
