Default Does lifting a 2006 ford ranger with a 4 cylinder lower your gas milage?

Hi I am looking into getting a 2006 ford ranger it has a 3.5 inch lift on it and i was wondering if that effect gas milage and how much it effects it? also if it does is there a way to get that gas milage back and around how much would it cost?

Thanks

Lifting any truck will lower the mileage. Whats the point in lifting a 4 cylinder though? Its going to make a slow truck slower and its not capable of off roading still.

Aerodynamics are very poor as is. Heavy tires and heavier suspension components will definitely decrease fuel efficiency.
