they ride just as stiff as cranked tbars thats what a tbar key does it reindexes the tbar causing it to be cranked past what the factory key can turn it. the ride as stiff and do nothing but cause issues when using them offroad and actually offroading same as cranking the tbars. 3" is still 3" doesn't matter were that bolt is that tbar is getting turned to lift them.

I would normally wholeheartedly agree with you since that makes perfect sense but i have tried both on the same truck and they were a night and day differance.
But that being said if you crank the Tbars AND remove the sway bar your ride will smoothen out to match the ride of the keys. The keys are a slight bit more rigid than stock.I wont try to say they arent.

the keys must not of lifted it as far as the crank did that is the only way it would be smoother.

I have had my t-bars cranked for about a year now and i haven't had any issues. I keep getting told that i am going to damage something due to the extreme angle on my front axles, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

they just say youll break your ball joints cuz of the higher angle when youre wheelin they say youll bind em up. now how much height for cranking t bars means theyre "maxed"? 3 inches?
