Default body lift ?'s.

I am ready to lift the ranger to fit 33's under it but not sure how much I need to lift it. I do have the torsion bars cranked up all the way but still doesn't look like it will fit them. I am not able to spend the money of a suspension lift so what will be the cheapest way to be able to get the clearence needed?

You can squeeze 33's with a tbar crank, but I wouldn't suggest wheeling it that way. It'll destroy the fenders. BL will get you the room you need and allow you to safely offroad it.

33"s on just a tbar crank

I rubbed the frame at full lock in a turn in the front and with the truck flexed out offroading

I believe you can still do a BL with a 3 inch SPL also.

Will doing the body lift cause problems with having to extend wire harnesses and brake lines?

There are only a couple ground straps that need to be watched. No wiring harness are stretched and Just a couple hoses have to be watches while lifting the cab. You gotta make sure they are out of the way of the pulleys.

Are there any other things you could tell me that might be helpful. Does anyone make a 1.5" BL or is it only 3?

Ford makes the 3.0 its says you have a 3.0 with a 4.0 tranny behind it. To bolt a 4.0 tranny your gunna need a adapter to do so even if that possable. So you have a 3.0 auto tranny with a shift kit in it correct?

I did mine alone with a jack, air comp, and 24 beer....
Very easy but make sure you have about 24"s of socket extensions for front body mounts.
Also be ABSOLUTELY sure your ac line isnt rubbing.
Cost me....Very easy though...

Yes I have the adapter as it says in the last post. So the ac line is the only one I need to worry about?
