cool just ordered the mounting kit, any recommendations on some affordable shocks i guess id be looking to get around 16" travel.

I would take a look at some bilstein 5150's great shock not badly priced in my option.

eh just outside my budget, jsut went with some procomp 34" standards. can probly squeeze 14" of travel out of them. but not they are installed here are some pix. but what do you think about drop hangers as my next project

Your wanting to lift the rear up more? What about doing a double shackle to get more flex out of it? How did you mount your shocks up top the look sorta straight up and down/ not even. You can also look at building a custom rear shackle/ leaf mount and move it down on the frame to add lift sorta like a shackle flip on the chevys.

yeah thats what im thinking some drop hangers for the shackles, i just may end up getting longer shackles anyways after i get my leafs rearched.

If you want more lift, why don't you just flip your axle to under the spring?

sprung under is better for handling since the center of gravity is lowered. more practical for driving around town plus getting sideways in the dirt

well yes and no, once i get more arched leafs + drop hangers the correct amount of weight should sag it enough to make it down travel once air born. so its really more articulation i think im explaining it right. but yeah it will lift it with no weight in the back.
