anyone ever use the el-cheepo body lift from summit racing? i see they have one in the July/august catalog starting at $82.95. i'm not beyond making my own bumper brackets so is that lift just as good as the name brand kit?

The lift I got is the summit lift

Only time u will need to modify bumper brackets is if you get the kit that fits on the 1998 -2000 ranger

Also the fuel neck ext. is wrong and you have to go to lowes home depot and get a pipe to fit I got pictures if you need some

If you get the kit made for your year you will be fine with everything

cool thanks stl. thinking about doing a 2" lift but if the price is the same i may as well throw a 3" in.

They make a 2" lift for 2001 and up?

i have the biggest tire on there i plan on running on the truck i'm just looking to add to the height for looks.

And what size is that?

i have a set of 235-75-15 on there now and just wanted a little more height without going overbord.

yeah i said the same thing but one i tossed on the 3" lift the tires went up also. I only rub a little at full lock with the 255's

dooo it. i have the summit kit also it worked fine for me.

with the 2.3 i'd have to regear then and i don't have the skils to do that

you wont be saying that when you get the lift on there! those 235s will look small!

well without regearing i can't go much bigger than what i have. besides i hate the looks of a stuffed wheel well i like a little bit of space like the stock fullsized dodges have in the back.. just my taste in looks don't flame me..

Come on man get your self a 3in bl and some bigger tires and regear you'll be happy that way

ok rangerextreme i i'd have to get to a meet sometime and see. since i have had a rather large sized chunk of bone removed from my right hip and was born with a club foot. i'll have to see if i could get in and out of someone else's truck a few times to see if my old bones would take the punishment before i spend that kind of cha-ching..
