Day star makes a lvling kit and rough country makes a 1.5 and a 4in lift for your truck. On the chart look at the bottom of it and they are listed for the pre98 2wd.

If I got the 5.5 Camburg Lift Kit for 1800, how much can I expect from a shop to install it? Also what will it do to my steering, braking, etc? Any other input on this lift or others? Its pretty dang hard to find lifts for my ranger.

if it's for the truck in your sig, it won't work. that kit is 2x4 only. your only option really is the dixon brothers long travel kit if you want to keep 4x4. if you'd rather ditch the front driveline parts for 2wd, camburg's 6.0 edge kit will work for you very nicely.

yep that kit will work. If you want to you can always add a 3in BL down the road for more lift if you wanted to.

What would happen to my handling, braking, and all that good stuff? Also what would be the approx cost of having a shop install it?

Larger tires means more rotating mass, you have a little less stopping power etc but not by much. Handling just make sure you get a go alignment and you will be fine, cost not sure 600-1200 I think is around a ball park, call around to a few and see what they say.

your overall center of gravity will be higher, making your truck more prone to rolling over if you drive like a 16 year old who thinks they're in fast in the furious.

braking will take longer due to larger tires, and wear out brake pads/rotors slightly faster. i still got a lot of miles out of a set of rotors with 32" tires though.

Yes, but dont go f-150 coils because im not sure, but im pretty sure they wont fit.

Just get coil spacers, i forget where but somewhere has 2 in ones for like 70 bucks without shocks

F150 springs only work on the ttb models pre 97. If you just level it out there is a daystar kit that I listed. You don't have to get new shocks but I would highly suggest it.

You can use some for a 3in lift or you can flex it out. Take a compressed and flex measurments call bilstein give them the measurements, type of shock (bolt through or stud) and the can find some for you. It doesn't have to be bilstein any shock cpany can do it. You can get away with stock shock bit you will wear the out pretty fast plus you have less travel in them.
