Is this gonna be a simple swap out or are we looking at any mods of any sort?? Just to prep so we dont get the truck gutted and get stuck.
Make sure you have a grinding tool, my spindles barely even fit without grinding. Oh and in your old spindles the ABS sensor might be frozen in the spindle... We had to buy all new ones so just be prepared

Didnt end up needing the ABS sensor replaced! We did have to drive it around and shave off some plastic on the mounting so the distance was coming out ok. The diagnostics were saying my left sensor was off.

Did have to replace the ball joints but that ended up being nice.

And heck that grinding was insane! It took all day to put everything in. You can see the end results in my project log "04 EDGE Florence Shadow"

So my question is now...
My truck is definitely gonna need to get lifted in the rear...

Whats the easiest way to get that 1-2" it looks like I need?? Was thinking shackles?

Thanks

Hi I know this thread is old and I've read a lot about it all but how long would the balljoints and cv axels last after putting new torsion keys in?

I hate to bring up such an old post. I just need some help here making sure I purchase the right product. I was hoping to do a 4" spindle lift on the front, and a 2" AAL lift on the rear of a 2003 Ford ranger edge (4x4 of course). Problem is, I am trying to save as much as possible as I will be doing this lift before I leave to a new job location. Can anyone please help me out?

3. A 1500 dollar super lift

I did a body and am ordering the superlift in the spring! Prices have dropped a little to 1399 plus 400 for the driveshaft.

Hey Logan how much would you think the coil over conversion when its all set and done go for. Brakets from the guy on the other forum and the coil over themself..no welding cost included... Rough guess is good.

Well, the brackets currently are running like $300 & my Fox coilovers & Eibach springs ran another $700 (+/-).

So you are talking around $1,000 without install.
