If you have torsion bars - those (or any other) coil spacers won't work at all. 100% guaranteed.

If those work on Rangers at all, they would be for trucks with coil springs only (aka non-sport & non-edge 2wd's).

EDIT to my EDIT (lol):

A 1999 2WD should not have torsion bars....

Went back about 8 pages and didn't see anything. No Google search results either, that I can see. Hopefully this question hasn't been answered 100x.

I want to go with spindles on my '01 XL 2wd (coil). There's a ton of choices on eBay and Amazon that all look the identical to my untrained eye. Are any of these better than the others, or are they the same part just rebranded?

Fabtech 01-09 3" 2wd Coil Spindles
P/N FTS98100-73
$544.95 + FS + CA tax

WheelsNParts 01-11 4" 2wd Coil Spindles
P/N SPI-LF-FR0110
$289.64 + FS + AZ tax

Lift USA 01-11 4" 2wd Coil Spindles
P/N ?
$299.95 + $9.95 S/H + CA tax

MaxTrac 01-11 4" 2wd Coil Spindles
P/N 703030B
$330.25 + FS + CA tax

The first one looks a bit different (probably just the angle?), but the rest look identical to me.

Also... are all lift shackles created equally? Other than bushing color, I'm not seeing a whole lot of difference out there.

Buy whichever spindles you can get cheaper. Many people run all of those brands successfully.

Beltech 6400 shackles are the lift shackle of choice. They're sold as "Chevy Lowering Shackles" but will lift your ranger for like $50-60

Ok total newb here.
Keep coming back to this post regarding lift options. On the fence about whether or not I want to lift my 04 Edge- no more than 3". If I can figure out exactly what I need before I buy my shocks then I will go ahead. I plan on ordering Bilstein shocks- 4600 series if no lift or 5100 series with lift.

From what I gather the 2wd Edge has no t-bar so I dont have the crank option? So what exactly do I need if I want to do a suspension lift? Most the suspension kits come with shocks. The fabtech spindle kit says only compatible to '00 http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits...FABFTS98300-73

All the kits Im seeing are past 1,000.00 Is that standard for a suspension lift- I know they cost more than a body lift, but that much more? Doetsh and fabtech are coming up with best options. I just need to know all what to get- I have a buddy doing the work for me

http://www.shocksandsuspension.com/s...ndles.asp?dc=5 * no options for ranger ,dont think I can work an F-150 fit on the Edge??
http://shop.suspensionmax.com/Shop/C...orLanding/true *link doesnt work- site search gives no results for 04 2wd ranger
http://www.camburg.com/ *crazy expensive!
http://www.dixonbrosracing.com/ *more than I need for daily drives

Thanks! I know its all been asked a zillion times, so bear with me.

Your 2wd Edge has torsion bars so you do have the option to crank them. Your really only gonna gain 1-1.5" of lift and will provide a harsher ride as well. What I did and recommend is getting a pair of lift spindles. That's your best bet for a 3" lift, and IMO way better than a body lift. I believe its better to lift via suspension and not body. Body lift is moving alot of things up and looks like it could be headache if you don't know what your doing. Spindle lift is an easy swap out and can be done yourself if you have the smarts for it. Theres even a write up on how to do it.

Here is the brand of what Im running and many many others on this forum are, I have had nothing but success with these guys. And dont let the price trick you either, its a hell of deal

Ok awesome. So what else is needed other than the spindles for the front? Looks like rear blocks Im seeing. Is it normal to block the back and spindle the front?

I have a 3 inch body lift with 33s they kinda scrub on my front valence so I took it off. But want to add a couple more inches so I can put my front valence back on. If I went with spindles and shackles would I have to get anything else for the front? Or do u recommend just getting coil spacers and aal

Don't do coil spacers, they make suspension components wear out faster and the ride is harsh. Do spindles and shackles. Nothing else is "necessary" but you should do new wheel bearings and seals
