im confused about the spring over and spring under...why would it reallly matter? i think that mine are spring over and in order to get a higher lift wouldnt it be better to add the existing leaf spring system rather than making two?? or do people move them under? why would they do that?

To add lift you put springs on top of a axle, to lower a truck to put them under the axle. If the truck is spring over you put a AAL on it in order to add lift, or you can swap them out for lift springs or something like a expo spring or a shackle. You can also go a shackle leaving it spring under to add a lift. Not sure what are talking about by making 2 leaf systems. By putting them on top of the axle it adds lift and puts the Ubolts facing up less things to catch while offroading.

I wouldnt, use either a AAL lift of 1-2 in, a shackel or block or the combo over the 3 to acheive what you want.

Hi!
Sorry for asking maybe a little stupid but i dont understand every word. But: Do I see it right that add-a-leaf would not be the right thing to give the rear of my 1996 2WD Ranger a little lift? I am plannung to lift the rear and lower the front...
