Default Body Lift Questions

I want to get a 3 inch body lift for my 07 Ranger Sport 4x4 but just have a few questions. I have read you are not suppossed to combine suspension lifts with body lifts, well my truck already has this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1995-...item3a61f0ff4b

do you think it is still a good idea to also get a body lift. Is it safe? and what is the life of a body lift. I wont have to take it off a years down the road will I? and on some of the warnings it also says no off roading with body lifts, whats your view on this.

Thanks for your help

I would remove that "lift" and crank the torsion bars it is free.

Adding a body lift with what you have already would be the same as doing it with cranking the torsion bars.

i already paid for the lift and it is installed so i might as well leave it on. would cranking the torsion bars really do the exact same thing. if so i wasted money. Isnt there only torsion bars in the front. because this kit raise the back 2 inches as well

Ya those do the same thing a torsion bar crank would do. Cranking the torsion bars up levels the truck so it sits level with the back.
