Default 2" body lift

I just got my truck today (turned 16) and it is a black 2003 Edge sidestep
i looked at it and it was sitting kinda high, and i think there's a 2" body lift on it? I am going to post pictures soon to have someone confirm but my question is what is a good, preferably cheap way to lift the suspension 3-4" and get rid of the gap you see from the body kit? Also, once i get the suspension lift, will a leveling kit do anything for my truck?

Or is there a way to get more lift other than suspension or tbar crank?

congrats, so you want to remove body lift n do suspension lift? a suspension lift will not effect the existing gap between frame and body....A "leveling" kit is self explanatory.. does it not set level? front vs. rear?

Welcome! Your truck may look a little taller cuz its the edge package. Is your truck a 4x4? Even the edge 2wd's sit the same at the 4x4 trucks.

The rear sits up noticeably higher than the front for sure. Can't i just add a suspension lift on or some other type of lift with the body lift? I'm really just looking for the cheapest way to lift my truck about 4-6" alltogether, and that way I can sit some 31-33" tires on it.
This is about the size lift i'm going for...

A bar? Are you referring to the T bar? I don't know any BL's that come with a bar.

yes you can run both, after tbar mod/crank. you can add a leveler if not satisfied

Not sure what the leveler Terry is referring to. But you can crank the t-bars for another 1-2" of lift. After that you have the 3" body lift option and/or 3" spindle option.

I cannot see the pics currently so can't tell if there is a body lift or not.

thanks everybody this problem has been resolved! gonna get a 3" BL and a leveling kit and later on a 3" spindle (possibly)
what is the simple way to fix the space that is seen whenever you get a body lift I saw someone say it on another thread but didn't go into detail..

People just buy some rubber and cover it up with that.

What leveling kit?? If you mean those aftermarket keys...waste of $.
