Question coil spring spacers...

would it be unsafe or just all around bad for the ball joints etc if i where to put some 1in-1 1/2 coil spacers on my truck. i would like 2 lift the front up a tad more.

Get the big round ones that look like a donut. There about 2" and provide a good 1-1/4" of lift.

They cost 9.99 at autozone.

those black rubber ones? do they go over or under the springs?

They go inside the spring, the say to put them in the center but I put them at the top.

I will take a pic quick and post.

If you put them in the center or lower, it seems to make the ride stiff, at the top as pictured, just gives the lift.

You should be fine with ball joints doing this.

yeah i might try it for 20.00 bucks probably have to get an alignment after.

go ahead and spend the money on the good metal spacers. I have a friend that pushed through those and mine have almost sagged back down to where it was before I put them in
