Default Custom prerunner kit (homemade)

hi i was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on how to make an I-Beam kit for my 94 ranger. My goal is to add a little travel and widen the front end. Ive seen kits for sale and get the jist of the whole thing but i was wondering if making it myself would be any cheaper than buying and installing a premade kit.

please reply if you have a general idea of prices. ps i dont have a pipe bender

If you want to add about four inches of lift to the front of your i beam ranger, go to a pick n pull or find a f150 with the same i beam set up and it will rake out the front make sure to get the shocks and you may want to cut the spring about one inch for alignment issues BAM cheap way to lift your ford ranger

Would you need to modify the spring mounts?

no you dont have to modify the spring mounts just cut the springs about an inch or one coil to set the tire to the right position.

These people thought they got the jist of it also, dude unless you know what your doing and understand susp dont be cutting yours up just to try and save a little bit of money. The whole pipe bender thing yeah its simple to extend a Arm but unless someone is there to show you what do to ship it off and have someone else do it for you before you hurt yourself or someone else.
