Re: Leveling front end
From my buddy's research (mostly poking around other forums) I've found that guys have been table to take F-150 coils and invert them and they fit right in Rangers giving your front end 2" of lift upon which you can place spacers or whatnot (I'm really not pro at this, I'm considering lifting for the first time in a couple weeks). I know this holds true for 83-94 Rangers for the most part, but it may bear looking into for the newer ones. The junkyards where I live want $50 a coil before the bartering process even began, so you may be able to do it for even cheaper, esp. if you know the guys.
'91 Ranger, 2.3L 4-Banger knocking out 140 HP. Plopped the head out of '94 and an RV cam in it. 2WD, zero options. But, I love her to death.
Avatar is when I drove up the Bohemia mining saddle in Oregon, a fairly well-known 4WD trail around here.
