2007 Ranger on 35s? help/questions
Hey guys, new user/first post, I read these forums all the time tho-
I have a 2007 RegularCab Ford Ranger Sport 8.8rear 4.10 gears manual transmision.
Im wantting to lift my ranger, possibly 3" body lift with 33s, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what a 3" body 3.5" spindle lift with 35s would look and be like? im not wanting to change gears or do too much, any input will be greatly appreciated.
I understand the 07 sport is like the 01-04 edge sittin about 2 inches higher that the xl and xlts? I have seen one picture on an 04 regularcab edge on 35s and it looked SICK! And any pictures on 35s would also be great.
Is going from 27" tires to 35s way to much? Im wanting to stick with 15" rims and all terrain tires, thanks for all the input and thought, and any other advice would be great, Thanks
also the truck is black, I have been looking at the DC-1 black rims, I dont think I want completely black rims but nothing to shinny, any rims advice? Thanks

That 18 is with the 4.0. The 3.0 will be hurting...it will be fine, just struggling a little.

Thanks for both of your input, as far as the spindle lift and specific brand Fabtech, Spring Tech, Camburg? I wont be doing much offroading so I dont want to pay for the best performance, but I dont want somethin thats going to break. I heard that for the Fabtech spindles you have to grind old pieces off or something, i dont want to be doing much of that The Fabtech lift kit I have seen between 700-800. Would it be better going with ebay spindles for around $350 and just buyin 2" blocks?

I had to Doestch (probably same as springtech) on my old Ranger, bought for $300, I wheeled it fine, and my buddy has those spindles and beats the crap out of them without a problem.

instead of blocks go with shackles, much better, and cheaper actually i think. like $50.00 for the belltech 6400 shackles. they lower chevys but raise rangers a couple inches.
edit: for 35s you may need to do blocks and shackles to get up there.
