Default Good used Lift Kit price?

Its been a while since Ive posted but I was wondering how much would you guys pay for a used lift? And would this kit even fit my truck? Its supposed to be a 4" superlift with the extended drive shaft and its on a 98 ranger x-cab 4x4 with a step side bed. My truck is an 02 but everything else is the same. The guy says he bought the truck 2 years ago with a body lift and the superlift already on the truck. Will it fit mine and how much would you pay for it if you had to unistall it from his truck to put on yours?

if he wants it off, the price I would pay is nada, zero, paid for in labor to remove.
if the seller does not like that idea, then tell him to take it off then offer a price.

Please take pics of the double lift and 31's for us!!! lol.

Prices on used Superlifts generally run 500-1000 already removed (excluding the shaft). It's about a 4-6 hour job to install if you know what you're doing and removal is pretty flipping fast but it's getting the other truck put together you also gotta worry about. So really, you're looking at something like 10-14hours work and you better not be out $500 and your time. I wouldn't pay much out of pocket honestly. Try to make it a straight up trade if you can. If you can't, offer a couple hundred and if that don't work, someone needs to plug some economics in the dudes head. Or have him pay out the ass to have someone else remove it for him then ya'll can base it on the 500-100. If he gives you a deal and you help remove it, it's a win win for both people.

So....if you're doing the work on both trucks and paying $500ish, it's still a decent deal considering the kit w/ shaft sells new for about 2300 total. I'd be thinking this in my head: "Is the juice worth the squeeze".

Something to also note: If it's gonna be a "you take superlift, he takes your stock stuff", there's gonna be a problem. Your steering knuckles WILL NOT work on his truck because he's got different hubs that use engine vacuum to engage whereas yours are 100% engaged all the time. You're gonna need to locate 98-99 knuckles to put on his truck.

I'm probably talking way too much but everything's relevant. lol.

Thanks for the help guys its really appreciated. I will definitely gets some pics of the double lift and 31s its hilarious. I thought my truck looked goofy with my 33s when I BL it cause I've been used to running them stock. I haven't talked to the guy in a few days I'm not sure if he's still willing to through with it I told him that if he wanted the thing removed from his truck I would take it off for nothing and then pay him for the drive shaft. I asked him if he had or new were he could get the stock parts for his truck cause I'm wanting to keep mine just in case I decide to sell or something. I'm not planning on spending no more than 500 bucks on this hole thing cause I want to coil over the front in the near future.
