2001 XLT 2wd front end lift
I just put 31s on my truck and now I need to lift the front of it a little bit. I'm pretty sure that I can put coil spacers on my truck. This is what I'm trying to figure out, what I'm supposed to do to lift it. If it is coil springs can I do a 3" spacer?

Re: 2001 XLT 2wd front end lift
You will have a super stiff ride, but it will work. I wouldn't do more than a 1" spacer. You will also need to rent a ball joint puller and spring compress to install.

Re: 2001 XLT 2wd front end lift
Every web site I look at doesn't have spacers for my truck, can't find any lift springs either. Really can't even find nice shocks. Kinda confused and frustrated.

Re: 2001 XLT 2wd front end lift
With the lift coils, you will need new UCAs as well due to different angle caused by the coils. Those will also give a stiffer ride.
Yea shocks are hard to find on some sites, since they do not let you narrow it down past just being a Ranger since you have different length shocks between 2wd and 4wd.
