I would say a suspension lift is better, but there are pros and cons for each type of lift. Either way you'll be able to fit the big meat.

cant you fit them on a 4wd with just a t bar crank? if not, id do a bodylift. the suspension lifts arent all that great for 4wd, either they are just a bunch of drop brackets or they are super expensive.

33s with just a crank on the t-bar is pushing it. I have 32s and just barely clear. Body lift is by far the cheapest route at $150 or so. Suspension lifts for 4wd are pricey (all start at over 1k) and there are very few options. Superlift is the most popular with a 4" lift.

There's a guy on another forum with a stock truck that runs 33x10.5 BFG AT's on the stock Alcoa wheels, and says they don't rub at all. He must not wheel at all, though...

Oh yea, I forgot, if you run 33x10.5 you should be fine...its the 33x12.5 that you will run into problems. I just prefer the look of a fatter tire so always forget about the 33x10.5

Those wheels have quite a bit of spacing though and stick way out there.
I have the same truck and I am looking at a 2" crank, 1" blocks in the rear and a 3" PA BL! This is the cheapest way to get a good lift for big tires since the tires are the biggest factor in a lift for axle clearance!

The Alcoas are stock 15x7 w/ 4.5" B/S. Don't stick out at all unless you put in spacers.

+1. They only stick out 2.5" from the mounting surface, which is nothing. They are actually tucked inside the wheel wells quite a bit. That's what I don't like about them, and my own stock 16's for that matter - the fender/bedside stick out much further than the wheel - and I don't like that look at all.
