Default Clanking sound with new springs?

Just installed the 3" lift springs and have been driving around for a few days. I have noticed, though, that when going over a sizable bump or hole, I get some clanking that sounds like it's coming from the new springs. I know I need new lift control arms to increase the travel distance, but can't afford right now. But before I do get them, i want to make sure that's the problem.

Any input?

did you swap over the rubber isolators on top of the coils? also could be the upper arm balljoint contacting the frame since you still have stock arms

Nothing came out with the old springs, so im assuming they were stuck up there and not removed. If clanking persists after new arms are installed i'll try to fix it then.
Thanks for the help though
