I was in the Army at the time and left for Europe. Lost contact with that guy, even though he's stationed close by where I am now. Maybe I should try and get a hold of him and ask...

Use hockey pucks. It sounds cool in conversation.

summit racing PA kit... Might be closer to $160 but safer, easier, and more reliable than some f'ing hockey pucks

totally... lets lift it with hocky pucks. OR NOT!!! Did you eat paint chips when you were little?
hocky pucks are made of what? rubber. which means that when you put the weight of the body on them and with the elements able to get to them that they'll dryrot even faster making your truck a rolling deathtrap.
if you're planning on bodylifting your truck, do it right. spend the money and do it right.

hockey pucks and glue? seriously? if were throwing bad ideas around why not just drill some holes in a couple 2x4's.

You can't honestly think that I'd be serious about using hockey pucks. I sure wouldn't do it. You think I was surprised when that dude actually used pucks to lift his Sierra? Yeah. I was shocked.
Note to self: Disturbed can't tell sarcasm from dirt

yea but man i didnt really expect hockey pucks to be part of it... im sorry i thought there was small things i could to get a couple inches of lift, but i think ive made up my mind, gonna start with a 3" body lift with 33" mickey thompsons with 17 or 18" dick cepeks DC-2s, then after christmas save some money then get the 4" suspenion lift. think a 4L v6 standered got enough power for all that?
