Asking The Order To Modify In...
I have been reading a lot on these forums since I joined a month or two back and I still have some questions I haven't been able to clarify entirely.
My aim is to raise the front end to level it, and install a 3" BL so I can then increase tire size (been looking at the Extreme All Terrain by ProComp 40,000mile) I have read that 33's fit on pre-'08 Rangers no problem with just a level, so I'm hoping with the level and a 3" BL that my 2010 can fit them without any rubbing. I'm also going to be replacing the stock rims and curious what kind of backspace range would I likely be looking for to minimize rubbing?
I'm not an extreme off-roader in any sort, I do however like camping out in the thick, so that's why I'm looking at those tires and going for the BL instead of waiting however long for SuperLift to get back in gear with the 4" SL.
Now because I have read so much debate about leveling keys and using the T-Bars I'm not sure whats best to level my front end, and is there any other solution besides those two options? I'm fairly new to all of this I don't know if its possible, or feasible, to level and lift the body using bigger blocks in the front than the back? I've only seen 3" wherever I search so I'm guessing not.
If I were to use my T-bars to level it, I don't know how close to maxing them that would bring it, would it increase the rate of which they would start sagging as compared to they will right now? They are #1 T-Bars.
Also, if it turns out T-Bars is the way to go for my situation the BL doesn't effect the T-bars does it? Would I need to replace the stop bumpers if I only go as high as to level it?
For suspension lifts do they extend your current suspension or replace it? And do they effect the T-bars distance?
