Default 2011 Sport 4x4 lift question

Good morning to all. I recently purchased a 2011 Ford Ranger Sport 4wd only to find out the lift options are almost non existent. Superlift seems to be out of the question since they tell me it causes traction issues on the 2011s. Rough country requires 17 inch wheels which Im not going to buy wheels. So, what is the best combination to obtain a 4 inch lift or so. Body lift plus torsion keys kit? Which kits do you guys recommend? Im looking for a leveled look and also know the 2011s come lower from the factory compared to pre 08 models. Thanks in advance! Fyi I want to clear 33s.

Torsion keys will/can level out the truck with a couple cranks.. Most companies sell those for less than $225 and some would argue they're not necessary at all.

Wheel and tire size will play a role in your decisions as will the use. Not that it should be taken or accepted that we're alluding to what you should or shouldn't do to your own vehicle. What we would say is that if you're going to spend your hard earned money on some products, take into consideration more than just similar opinions.

If you're goal is only putting 31"-32" tires under your truck, as a Rough Country Dealer, a 4" suspension isn't necessary to do 70-80% of the things you're likely to do. Which makes me wonder what your expectations are, is this truck your daily-grinder, a project vehicle for dedicated but streetable offroad use?

Have you spent some time discussing the ideas you have with someone whose willing to take you serious and listen to you as well as provide options and a outline of a direction to follow based upon fully understanding what your expectations really are?

We could/should have a good conversation about what you want, contact info is in the sig our hours are posted here PST (Pacific Standard Time) www.12degnorth/contact

Thank you for your reply! Honestly, my truck is a daily driver. It is my work truck which I drive approx 25 miles a day. The reason for the lift is just to sit a bit higher and not feel that Im driving a car. Im used to driving jeeps, F250s and F150s. This is my first ranger and it just sits too low for my liking. Im interested in 33s and a mild to moderate lift. Wether is a body lift combined with a slight suspension lift or just the lift Im not sure whats best on these trucks. Superlift says no lift for my 2011 due to traction sensors and rough country says I need new wheels. So Im dumbfounded as I had never had a difficult time finding lifts for my previous vehicles

Ok, I have decided to go with the pre key mod, crank up the torsion bars just a bit, add the pre 2008 rear blocks and add 1.5 inch rear shackles.
