2wd springs, 4.0L manual. Lift kit idea’s.
I have. 2011 ford ranger 4.0L with front spring. It also hasn’t stabilatrac. I see a bunch of lift ideas for the truck. One is a spring spacer, getting bigger springs, and getting bigger shackles. My question is, if I get a shackle lift, do is also need to get bigger springs? Same for the spring spacer, do I need to get a bigger shackle? I don’t want to go crazy, just 3-4” and fit some 31” bf Goodrich all terrains.

On my 2011, I have 31"s, 2.5" Lift Springs, and Bilstein 4600's all around. THAT'S ALL! It definitely sits nice and drives smooth. The rear tires will rub the fenders if i hit any dips hard. Other than that no issues. I'm looking to put bigger spindles and upper control arms in. Also wondering about the rear shackle/leaf lift. I believe if you flip the shackle and add a leaf you'll be good. I'm a little confused about it though.
