nothing wrong with lifting a 2wd, I ran 3" doetsch spindles, same as fabtech but cheaper. you have an xl/xlt or EDGE?

Alright, XLT, so you have a choice of 3" spindle, 2.5-3" Coil w/ UCA, 1" coil spacer or 3" body lift. All but the body lift can be found at Tokico shocks, Eibach Springs, Springtech Suspension, and Lift Kits At Competitive Prices I had no problems with them, but it seems people as of recent have been having severe customer support issues with them.

For a 3/2 lift, you would go with the 3" spindle in front. For the rear, you can get the 2" block from a stock Ranger EDGE or 4x4 from 98-06 (after that the block got smaller for some reason), can pull those from a junkyard for cheap probably.

I have the 3" Doetch Tech spindles on my 2wd Edge and I love them. I got them cheap on ebay and they were pretty easy to install myself. I clear 33s with no rub. The only thing is if you have an edge, you have lift blocks on the rear already. I had to have my blocks made. I basically had a 2" block and a 3" block welded together at my local exhaust shop. Then you just have to find u-bolts that fit. If I could figure it out, anyone can. Good luck.

If you wheel at all DO NOT stack blocks. The axle wrap is not good not to mention welding blocks is not the smartest of ideas. Do it right, get an AAL or shackle lift or combination.

It may not be the best idea, but I haven't had any problems with mine and I had mine welded from the inside and out by a certified welder. I have had them on for three years with no problems and no cracks. If you have about $300 extra to spend, you could go to your local leaf spring shop and have some springs made with the lift in them. I know my local place will make them to ride pretty close to original, only with the amount of lift you need.

Get a set of shackles. 35 bucks at vato zone. Allows the leafs to articulate better, lifts, no need for a block and longer u bolts.
