How is my truck lifted?
I bought a used 1996 Ford Ranger, 4.0, 4wd, manual... nice truck in good shape. It has 32" tires and has been lifted 2 inches.
The guy I bought it from didn't do the lift, just bought it because it looked cool. He sold it because he needed a bigger truck. So he couldn't tell me anything about the suspension upgrades.
My question is this: how do I identify what was done to lift the truck? Can I spot any added gear or parts that would tell me how it was lifted? Is it a body lift or a suspension lift? How can I tell?
Thanks, I'm just trying to learn as much as I can about my truck.
Joe
