In preparation for installing new tires and following up with a FEA, I went out and measured the ride height on my Ranger using the info and data in the FSM. It turns out that the front is just a tad just above the midrange spec, but the rear is comes out towards the lower end of the spec. I'd like to shoot for mid range in the back, so shackles come to mind.
With that said, what have people bought for shackles to gain ~ 1" in back? Cost is not a driver, but quality is (not a rust bomb, better not squeak, better not bend). TIA
***Sidenote....ride height variation between left/right is 1/8" in front and 0" in back. I've seen this "Ranger lean" phenomena going down the road, but in owning Rangers for 22 years, never had the issue.
