Default 1 Inch Body Lift

Hey all,
I'm sorry if this one has been pounded to death but I have a few questions about 1 inch body lifting my 2wd 1997.

I'm already running a set of leveling coils with an add a leaf in the back.

What I'm wondering is if I will have to make any adjustments other than the bumpers and will this impact my alignment. I don't see how it would but I don't know so I figured I'd ask.

Also I was wondering how people who have this configuration feel about it. Does it ride like a body lift? (Body roll, sloppy feel) Finally what material do you recommend and where did you get it?

Thanks!

a body lift should have no effect on ride characteristics due to no changes being made to any suspension parts. While you may notice an increase in body roll due to a slightly higher center of gravity, with only a 1" lift, I would expect this to be minimal to non existent.

I had a 1" inch a long time ago. You will barely notice it. I think I still have the lift blocks sitting in a box. I purchased them directly from PA Performance.

If you still have yours I'd be interested in buying them if you want to sell them

Looks like they arent as easy to get as they used to be. Ill keep looking in the garage for the extra block. I had 12.

I could always give you a 3 inch block and you could cut it down to match.

Just bought vista4.0's lift. pics will follow when installed.

Question: Anyone know if I'm going to have to extend brake lines? I'm leveled in the front already with an add-a-leaf in the back?

You shouldnt have to touch any of that. Just when you are jacking the body up to slide the blocks in just go slow and make sure nothing is being overly stressed.

This might help. The installation instructions can be downloaded from the link below. It is for the 3" body lift but install is the same.

Got the lift in. Learned my lesson with starting projects like this the day before Thanksgiving by stranding my truck at the shop overnight since all the hardware stores were closed and I of course bought the wrong stuff.

I like the lift so far. I'm still nervous something is going to come lose. Been shopping for 31's pretty hard. That will be it for raising the height of this thing.

Need to fab up some relocation brackets but that will have to wait until Christmas break and I'll tackle that and my intake manifold gasket. I'm thinking of only correcting the front bumper since the back isn't as obvious and I use the bumper hitch to pull the boat in the summer.
