Just a thought, if your going to the trouble anyway might go to the jy and look for a newer front bumper. Make the 3rd Gen look a lot better IMO.

Did you fab your brackets, buy them somewhere or did they come with the kit?

Also how long to get used to that little extra body roll? lol

for the 98+ (only say this because its what ive done it on) you just notch the holes for adjustment on the bumper to get your 1 inch.

And the body roll youll get used to real quick.

I meant if he's going to make brackets anyway, might as well do it to a better bumper, but if you just need to notch the existing bracket that's easy enough.

Yeah, the problem with that is and it may only bug me but the 93-97 bumpers are flat across the top. the 98+ bumpers have an indent on the top for the grille. Thats more of what i was getting at.

I gotcha, I actually don't mind that. Personal preference I suppose.

Didn't think of that. I was so convinced I had to make brackets. Just make new holes on the bumper. DUH

Yeah, lol i never really got around to raising the bumpers, too many other important things. ANd it wasn't the noticeable. I'll probably get around to it in the next few weeks cause i'm off for a few months.

lmk if you find a good way to do it!

I think yours being an 07 your bumper may be a decent amount different than mine.

While it's not that noticeable I think 31's will clip the bumper turning on my truck and since that's the final step of the moar tall for me, I gotta figure something out lol.

Also I think it makes the lift less noticeable since the bottom of the truck is the same distance to the ground still. I remember when I took off my lower valence people thought I lifted the truck.

You probably already did it, but I had enough adjustment in my front bumper to put a jack under it loosen up the brackets slide it up and tighten it down. You'll have to do it a few times until you get everything to line up okay. The ends will want to flip up or down.
