Default 3 to 5 in suspension lift

I have a 97 ranger with a leveling kit and wanting to do a lift but I dont want to have to start messing with anything because of lifting it. I need some advice on how high I can go before it starts getting to pricey. My buddy said 3 but I would like to go higher if I can

Nothing really has to be pricey if you don't mind ruining your truck lol if you're gonna lift it save your money and do it right

You should add that truck to the 01 in your signature.

I-beam tucks (pre 1998 rangers) 2wd or 4wd aren't super expensive to lift. Lift kits from 4" and up can be had for 700-1000 bucks.

You could also do a 3" body lift for ~$200.

Prices don't include cost of install.

There's also a Rough Country 4" kit online for $440 last time I checked. Comes with coils, drop brackets, pitman arm, shocks and I think a sway bar drop bracket. You can also swap the 4" coils for Skyjacker 6" coils and still keep good angles.

Then get camber bushings/washers (whatever they use for beams) and an alignment. Install yourself will save a lot more.

Then I'm assuming wheels and larger tires.

Yeah I was looking to spend about 200-400 on it but I didn't want to have to deal with messing with the drive shaft and everything else. If I do that 4" lift tyler46 would I have to mess with it too? I wanting to do the 4" especially since it comes with everything I need but coils if I want to swap, which I probably will. And yeah probably go with 35s

get new radius arm bushings while you are there. Did you get an alignment after you did the leveling kit?

I did a lift kit on my bronco a few months ago. It was all stock but the alightment was 100% when I got it. After the lift (4" rough country) the camber was still good but the toe was off. just did a toe n go and its straight
