Default Body Lift

I want a body lift around 2-2.5 inches on my 03 ranger. How much will this cost with installation and everything together?

That depends largely on your local shop rates.

----------

We can't provide you that info. You will have to call around.

The only body lift that is offered is a 3" body lift from Performance Accessories. Last time I checked it was about $250, but check their website to see what it's at.

As for installation, grab a buddy and take a weekend off to install it. It will save you a lot of money and you will learn a thing or two when doing it.

No need to body lift a 2wd if you only want a few inches.

This^. Could or spacers would get you 2". Spindles would get you 3-4". All of which would probably be cheaper than a body lift+ install

Any off road shop around you could do it.

Honestly though, they're going to charge you up the ASS for labour.

If you have at least a quarter of a brain and access to the Internet I would encourage you to try to tackle it yourself.

Most importantly this ^

I remember reading one thread on here where a guy got quoted $1200 just to install the spindles (parts costing ~$300 extra)

There's plenty of information and walkthroughs on both a body lift and spindle lift right here on FRF. Since you're 2WD, we recommend a spindle lift first over anything. The top selling spindle runs $289 usually.

Besides, you have us to turn to if you have any problems!

Personally, I do not have any experience with spindle lifts as I have never owned a 2wd (but a TON of people on this site do).

But if you go the body lift route, I could help you out tons.
