Body lift install in Georgia
Hey members, this is my first post and I don't know if this is the correct place to post this, if it isn't you can guide me and I'll repost where y'all think I should. Anyways, do any members live close to ringgold, ga that have experience in installing body lifts and would like to help? I'm afraid to try by myself and don't want to mess anything up. Thanks in advance.

Re: Body lift install in Georgia
A body lift install can seem like a daunting task (and an extra set of hands really helps) but it really is not as bad as it seems. If you take your time, follow the instructions carefully, and are decent with a wrench you should be ok. I've helped install 3 on various year Rangers (including mine) and found the process fairly simple. It is time consuming so if you daily drive your truck be sure to account for this however it can be done in a day. Have you seen this stickied thread? Body Lift 3” – Tech Info Extravaganza There is a ton of good information in there. What are the specs on your truck? If you add this information in your signature it makes it easier for us to answer any future questions you may have as quickly and accurately as possible.

Re: Body lift install in Georgia
Thank you for the response. Just reading about the install overwhelms me. I am very mechanical and have friends who are, I just don't want to get myself in a mess. I will check out that link and update my sig to my trucks specs, but I'll type them out here for you now.
2002 Ford Ranger, supercab, 4x4, extended cab, flare side, stock 4.10 gears, the truck is all stock as of now.

A bit late but wanted to say hey! I live in Chattanooga. Just down the road. I live in East Brainerd area.
I miss the community that came along with owning a Jeep. It would be nice if the Ranger community was as big. Although it is also kinda cool because modified Rangers are more rare than wranglers...at least down here!
