Default Torsion key install, need help!

I'm trying to add aftermarket torsion keys in my 1998. Problem is, either the torsion bar keeps moving inward to where I can't get the retainer block in, or my 7 ton puller bends. Any recommendations?????

Aftermarket keys are a BAD idea. Waste of money and the potential to cause some serious wear.

But, if you insist on using them, Ive had success using a C-clamp to rotate the torsion bar enough to remove the retainer block.
