Parts collection has begun... Spindles and shackles are on the way....
there will not be another like mine
Moving on to the rear...My current springs are flat.fact. Now I know I can go... aal, shackle, block in various configurations to get the height, but to me, those are all masks for my fecotasticly shot leaf packs. Say I do an add a leaf and a shackle, whats that going to net me? Maybe 3? Then add a block to get the 4-5 inches? If someone can tell me this route would be the best overall end result please do tell. This option is inexpensive although it seems overly complicated, and based on flat stock 150k springs. It would be a bad ride. Right?
Here's what i'm thinking.
explorer springs...

i've read numerous heights gained from this swap 3-4 seems to be the avg...
I have the shackle from my lift kit coming, which should be another 1-1.5.
Is this not the better option? I'm building this truck for long term overland off grid disappearing acts, forest roads and no trespassing signs all day.
I have heard of F150 springs being used as well, anyone care to direct the blind kid to the appropriate thread?
Lastly, I am
regarding shocks.
I need to know which shocks have been used in this type of build for the greatest overall return on investment.
I would like to preemptively thank tyler46 for his contribution to this thread.
