Question How to suspension lift ?

I own a Ford Ramger mk 2 2003 2.5TD super cab.
I am new to all of the tearms within the forum therefore I am making this post looking for an answer in not to technical terms.

I whish to fit 265/70 R18 tyres on a 18" 8.5" alloy the clearence looks a little tight ! Therefore I think I need a suspension lift.

Do I just buy bigger shocks for the front and an extra leaf for the rear ?
to acheive a small lift of about 2".

bigger shocks won't do anything. is your truck coil sprung or torsion bar suspension in the front?

Looking underneath there are no coil springs - therefore must be torsion bar. Can see a long bar. Excuse my ignorance but new to this.
My current overall wheel diameter is 75.20 cm this I want to increase, I think I can acheive to about 78 cm then things look a little close on the front.
I love my Ranger but why did they not add a 6 th gear ! 110mph in 5th @ 4250 revs eats the fuel !

Check that out. You can adjust those bars for a 1-2" of front lift.
