Superlift Questions.
So I'm finally gearin up to install my superlift.
I've been goin over the installation manual and a few threads on here.
One question I haven't been able to answer is about front rotor size. I seem to remember reading something about newer trucks having a larger diameter front rotor, and that caused issues with the steering knuckles from superlift where you had to have a specific rotor size depending on which knuckles you had. The guy I bought my kit from had a newer truck (06-07 or so) and mine is an 02. Anyone heard of anything like this? (I could just be imagining it haha)
Also, any advice y'all have on the install would be greatly appreciated.

Rotor size went up in 03. Most superlift knuckles had mounting holes for both sized rotors. Rcd kits had to go to the smaller.
Cliff notes: you're fine.

You're right. Looked at the knuckles again and they have two sets of holes for the caliper bracket.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Superlift Questions.
YUP . comadown is 100% correct. Perfect choice on superlift. All 3 trucks that I've put lifts on are all Superlift.

Re: Superlift Questions.
Rather than start a new thread, I spose I'll just ask this here.
Anyone have any suggestions for removing the LCA bolts? I have all the nuts off, and have the rear bolt out on both sides, but the front bolts wont budge. I've tried threading them out, heat, BFH, air hammer; but I haven't gotten them to budge.
Next step is cutting the bolts, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. haha

Torsion bars are still in the LCA, but are free at the other end.
Steering knuckle is out.
LCA moves freely.
I just can't seem to drive the front bolts out.

I don't for see driving them out of the LCA to be any easier. Haha.
Are they preventing the bolts from being driven out? The adjusters and insulators are removed and the key end is completely free.

Just for future reference; I ended up cutting the front bolt on each lower control arm (proved to be easier said then done as they are hardened bolts). They were both seized to the bushings.
As far as replacement hardware, you're not gonna find the same bolt that ford gave you. The bolt has been discontinued by ford and finding a hardened metric bolt of that size proved to be quite difficult. I ended up going with a 5/8 by 5" grade 8 bolt.
